This is a limited edition run of the Old Head Measuring Spoon, die-cast out of aluminum (you can see/feel the marking from the mold's ejector pin in the 'bowl' of the scoop) and then PVD coated in Gold, Blue, Rainbow, and Gunmetal.
Die cast aluminum tends to be a little rough around the edges, but by adding the PVD coating we were able to smooth out the finished spoons considerably, while adding durability, and creating some vibrant color options in the process.
